Palm Springs hotels offer discounted rates to wildfire evacuees

The Palm Springs Hospitality Association is extending a helping hand to victims of the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles County by offering discounted hotel rates. The initiative, supported by the city of Palm Springs, aims to provide a safe haven for those displaced by the fires.

“On behalf of the Palm Springs Hospitality Association, I would like to extend our desire to be a safe haven for as many evacuees as possible,” said Celeste M. Brackley, PSHA Board Member and vice chair of PS Resorts. “The hospitality community is coming together to help evacuees find some comfort at a discounted rate in the hopes of being good neighbors.

“Our hearts are with all that are worried about or have lost their homes.”

Mayor Ron deHarte welcomed those seeking refuge in Palm Springs, stating, “To the many who have already made their way to Palm Springs, we welcome you and hope you find peace, respite and healing. A big thank you to our hospitality community for stepping up to help those in need.”

Several hotels in Palm Springs are participating in this initiative, offering special rates for fire evacuees. The Saguaro Palm Springs is offering rooms with the promo code CALOCAL, while the Hilton Palm Springs is using the code PPF. Both can be contacted for availability and rates.
