Commissioners are also expected to receive updates on the dog park, pickleball, golf and park enhancement efforts.

At the same time, the ARC will consider several development proposals, including a request for approval of a 92,400-square-foot self-storage facility on a 4.2-acre site at 900 North Farrell Drive.

Committee members will also review plans for a hillside single-family residence on Cahuilla Hills Drive that includes requests for a height increase and reduced front yard setback, along with a proposed residence in the Desert Palisades Specific Plan area on Morning Vista Drive.

The Sustainability Commission is scheduled to meet Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Large Conference Room at City Hall. Commissioners are expected to discuss updates to the city’s greenhouse gas inventory, a comprehensive shade and heat mitigation plan and development of a climate action roadmap and 2026 goals.

The Airport Commission will meet Wednesday at 4 p.m. at Palm Springs International Airport, 3400 East Tahquitz Canyon Way. Among the items scheduled for discussion are updates on airport finances, capital projects and festival-season sponsorships, which airport staff reported generated more than $230,000 in sponsorship-related revenue this season.
