City Hall wants to make life easier for residents with a new online self-service portal called Palm Springs Online.
Driving the news: The portal will help residents apply for permits, search public records, renew business licenses, pay invoices and more.
- There are also guides that walk users through the steps to apply for a cannabis license, and detailed information about fees.
Why it matters: The city says it wanted to streamline some of these services and have them all in one easy-to-find location. Eventually, it appears there will be a calendar displaying the dates for public hearings and meetings.
Details: You’ll have to register for a free account before using some of the services. The city even made several instructional videos showing residents how to navigate the site.
