Meet Logan Guinard

Every Sunday we introduce you to people in our community who are making a difference. This week we invite you to meet a transplant making his mark in the city at a surprisingly young age.

The people who make Palm Springs like no place else

Taking a leap of faith is admirable. When that leap is 5,700 miles, it’s notable. When you’re in your early 20s and make that leap without knowing anyone where you’re landing, that’s newsworthy. Hence, that was the case for Logan Guinard, who left France to pursue his dreams in Palm Springs.

“I arrived from France as a simple landscape designer, with a mediocre level of English and only one person I knew by sight thanks to Facebook,” he explained. “Then, little by little, I created an environment of trust around me and worked hard, which allowed me to evolve in an impressive way. I managed in six months to become the main designer of my company and one-and-a-half years later I’m one of the project managers at Architectural Blue. I can’t thank enough my boss, Matthew Naylor, my colleagues, and the clients for trusting me and believing in my designs and crazy ideas.”

Get to know Logan, whose work can be viewed here, below.
