Favorite local event: Iโ€™m partial to our film festivals: The Palm Springs International Film Festival in January and ShortFest in June. I also love Modernism Week and Restaurant Week.

Food recommendations: ย El Salvador Cafe on Sunrise, Rooster And the Pig on Indian Canyon, and Native Foods on Palm Canyon are always solid.

People meeting tips: People are so friendly here. For film lovers, Iโ€™d recommend joining a group like the Palm Springs International Film Society.ย
