Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) is holding a job fair to help 14 tenants hire nearly 100 people for their airport business locations, officials announced Saturday.
The event takes place at Palm Springs Convention Center, 227 N. Avenida Caballeros, on Tuesday from 10 AM until 4 PM.
There are many full-time and part-time positions available from companies such as Alaska Airlines, United Airlines, Hertz, Signature Flight Support, Transportation Security Administration, Atlantic Aviation, and more. Open positions include aircraft line maintenance, airline ramp agents, airline customer service agents, cashiers, taxi drivers, servers, cooks, supervisors, and rental car sales agents to name a few. Some jobs even come with flight benefits.
“We have a variety of tenants looking to fill all types of positions at the airport,” said Victoria Carpenter, airport administration manager at PSP. “We decided to hold a second job fair after our tenants expressed the need to hire more staff due to the increased activity at PSP. There are plenty of opportunities available, so we encourage everyone to be prepared for on-the-spot interviews and hiring.”
