A message from founder Mark Talkington
Nearly every day, Kendall and I hear from readers and leaders that The Post is making a difference in their lives and helping make our community a better place. It’s incredibly heartwarming!
From assisting non-profits as they seek volunteers and donations, to alerting residents to important meetings and events, to telling stories about people and organizations doing good in our city, The Post embodies the true spirit of community – neighbors helping neighbors.
For both of us, The Post is a labor of love and our way of giving back to a community we care about. We don’t charge to access the vital news and information we provide, and we never will, because we believe that journalism is a community service that should be free for everyone.
Still, similar to National Public Radio, we humbly ask those who can afford to financially support our efforts to consider doing so. That support helps keep The Post afloat and helps us to continue our mission to serve all members of our community, regardless of their ability to pay.

Is your website secure?
All payments are processed through Stripe. Stripe is a PCI Service Provider Level 1, which is the highest grade of payment processing security. All credit card information is encrypted, sent directly to Stripe and is never sent to our website server. This means that we are PCI compliant and any breach of our website won’t result in stolen credit card information. Learn more here.
