Support The Palm Springs Post

The journalism in The Post is free and always will be. But it turns out it’s not free to produce and deliver. Thanks to your support, we are building a mission-driven community asset much better than anything ever offered in Palm Springs.

A message from founder Mark Talkington

Across the country, local news outlets are closing in record numbers as wealthy hedge funds swoop into town to scoop up the scraps, close printing presses, and lay off employees. Their actions leave our communities — and our democracy — without a vital resource.

But there is a revolution happening. In cities across America, other journalists like me are helping end their neighbors’ daily frustrations by creating independent newsrooms that are the exact opposite of “fake news.” By supporting The Palm Springs Post, you are supporting an independent newsroom that serves our city well.
