The United States Army Field Band will perform in Palm Springs. The free concert is scheduled for Feb. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Palm Springs Convention Center, 277 North Avenida Caballeros. Since its formation in 1946, the U.S. Army Field Band has appeared in all 50 states and in more than 30 countries on four continents. The organization’s four performing components include the Concert Band, the Soldiers’ Chorus, the Jazz Ambassadors, and Six-String Soldiers.
