A second annual “plein air” festival, called Paint the Desert, will be held from Feb. 2 to 5 in valley cities from Palm Springs to La Quinta.

As part of the festival, 65 artists, some internationally acclaimed, will paint the Coachella Valley for three days. Following will be an awards reception and gallery show at Artists Center at The Galen in Palm Desert on Feb. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m.
