The City of Palm Springs needs 150 to 200 volunteers to plant trees at Desert Highland Park, Victoria Park and Demuth Park on March 12. Awarded an AMPlify the Urban Forest grant through Cal Fire and West Coast Arborists, Palm Springs has 85 trees to plant, including oak, acacia, Chinese elm, silver maple and Australian willow.
