Covid and Kids: A Mental Health Crisis

The United Nations Association of the Coachella Valley continues its series of speaker events addressing issues that transcend boundaries and affect all people. Moderated by Dr. Nicole Crawford, PSUSD Coordinator for Diversity and Racial Equity, next up is Priscilla Abji, Med, Clinical Psychotherapist, and Alissa Russ Everett, Med, PSUSD Counselor discussing “Covid and Kids: A Mental Health Crisis.”

Priscilla is the founder and licensed clinical psychotherapist of PAC Services. She has worked in social services since 2012, providing compassionate and evidence-based therapy for adults and adolescents. Priscilla’s has a Master of Social Work, Children and Families, from the University of Southern California and a Master of Education, Urban Education and Leadership, from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Alisa Russ Everett is a school counselor at Desert Hot Springs High School with over 20 years of experience. She has a bachelor’s degree from UC Riverside and a master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Alisa joined PSUSD in 2017.
